About you

Are you someone with a heart for the collective? You may already be a leader in your organization or your community or perhaps you are ready to step into what you do with a newfound sense of self-mastery and impact.

If you have a heart for the collective, you already know our lives and our work is not for us alone. Coaching can be a powerful step toward what you want next for yourself and also for those your work can (and will!) touch.

Many of us come to coaching with a specific topic we are working through:

  • We may be looking for a transition in our career, toward a new role, field, or the next steps towards a promotion.

  • We may be considering or in the midst of a transition between employment, entrepreneurship, retirement, and/or caregiving.

  • We may be seeking more balance, meaning, or aliveness in our lives, across our roles as individuals, caregivers, community members, or the other ways we show up for ourselves and others.

  • We may be striving to find new approaches or new agency toward a recurring challenge in our life that we want to move through or beyond in ways we haven’t yet found possible to reimagine on our own.

One or more of these may have drawn you to coaching, but if not that’s ok too. Our inner knowing is sometimes clear before the words are clear - it could be that you sense something more subtle: your life is asking you to meet yourself in a new way.

About working with me as a coach
  • Coaching is a transformative practice of accompaniment. Our work and our lives in the world have much to do with how we are in relationship with one another and with ourselves. The coaching I provide is in service to individuals who feel a call to the collective, a call to service, and who want to transform how they show up- in that work, in their lives, and in their leadership (however they define that).

  • Coaching is not advice, therapy, or counseling. I will work with you as a peer and in accompaniment. We may address specific personal projects, life balance, work successes, or general conditions in your life.

  • I bring formal training to this work as a coach with over 100 hours of classroom training in the highly-regarded Co-Active Coaching method. I also bring experience with various forms of embodiment and somatics practice (lineages of generative somatics, Staci Haines, and Strozzi), have worked under the guidance of a senior mentor coach, and bring a host of other experience from my professional life (more in “about me.”).

  • I work with clients in 3+ month coaching partnerships.

    • We will start with a complimentary exploratory call.

    • If you are a good fit for the coaching I provide and you choose to work with me as a coach, before our first session we’ll begin with a thoughtful inquiry process into your goals for coaching and the ways I can best tailor my support to you as your coach.

    • Each month we will meet twice virtually, every other week, for 50min 1×1 sessions, focused on your goals for the session and your overarching goals for the coaching partnership.

    • Between sessions you will continue the momentum through a combination of worksheets and tools I share and unique tailored “homework” emerging from our sessions.

    • Clients leave with more clarity, confidence, and tangible steps toward their next chapter.

  • Our work together is always confidential.

About me
  • My approach as a coaching partner is grounded in a lifetime of experience with transition, self discovery, and healing; practice at the intersections of individual and social transformation; and work in academia, social enterprises, nonprofits, finance, and tech companies, as an individual contributor and leader (more of a “professional bio” here).

  • In my personal journey beyond my academic and work experience, I have also engaged with different perspectives from meditation, psychotherapy, bodywork, creative practice, psychedelic experience, and anti-oppressive and liberatory frameworks (taught by AORTA, The Embodiment Institute, SEEDS, thirdspace somatics, wildbody somatics, and others). I am a survivor of interpersonal violence, and healing from trauma has been among my greatest teachers about the connections between the mind, body, and society.

  • My own experiences fill me with compassion, hope, and awe for our human experience and a belief that within all of us is the possibility to transform the way we relate to ourselves and the world.

What My Clients Have to Say

“I reached out to Stephanie after I was RIF'd. I had been applying to jobs for a few months and was feeling defeated - unsure of what direction I wanted to go in. During my initial consultation with Stephanie I immediately knew it would be a great fit. My goal was to get clarity on the career path I wanted to follow moving forward. I really enjoyed that she used various tools to help me clarify my vision for the future - both those that would be considered traditional coaching strategies and others that were more out of the box (e.g., centering exercises). What I appreciated most is that she wasn't there to give me the answers (even though I kind of wanted that at first) but really made me look within where I already had the answers. Working with her really helped me build back up my confidence - which in turn allowed me to show up as my best self when I got a new job - which aligned perfectly with what I was looking for.”  - K.C.

“I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie for nearly six months, during which her coaching played a key role in my career growth. With her support, I earned a promotion and raise, improved my communication with my supervisor, and clarified my long-term career direction. What stood out most was Stephanie’s professional, yet personal approach. She took the time to understand my goals and offered tools that prompted deep reflection. I highly recommend Stephanie to professionals at any stage, especially those in leadership or management, who are seeking to grow, get clarity, and reach their full potential.”

— M.L.

“Stephanie was a fantastic coach to work with as I worked through a career transition. She helped me think deeply and creatively about what I am looking for in the next phase of my life and profession. Our discussions and the activities Stephanie facilitated for me opened my mind and heart to new ways of thinking about the world and how I can contribute in my career. If you are facing a pivotal point in your career, Stephanie is a wonderful partner to support you on the journey.”

— S.R.

“Working with Stephanie gave me clarity on my professional purpose and the kinds of roles and organizations where I can thrive. She helped me recognize my own leadership capacity, while also providing guidance for navigating tricky situations in my current role. Her coaching has been invaluable in helping me grow with both confidence and direction.”

- A.

“It was immediately clear when interviewing 6 coaches that Stephanie was the only one I wanted to work with. I felt comfortable sharing everything to make this relationship work. Over time, that never changed. She helped me get a good understanding of a new career path and options I never would’ve thought of. It’s extremely difficult to do this alone so I’m truly grateful I found her.”

- P.K.

“I loved my time working with Stephanie. She helped me remember my strengths, connect to some of my proudest moments in my career, and find new perspective. I’m grateful for the work we did together.”

- A.B.
